The rooms at Posada Atacamena were spacious, clean, and inviting. The warm showers were a wonderful touch. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main street and plaza. The outdoor common spaces, with hammocks and swing chairs, were a great place to relax. The observation tower offered a beautiful view. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the weather was lovely. Despite being close to the center, the hostel was quiet during the day and after midnight. The owner was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The surprise barbecue and campfire organized by the staff was a highlight of our stay.

I loved the owner and their warm hospitality, always going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The social atmosphere was great, with regular events like barbecues that had amazing food. The outdoor gardens were beautiful and relaxing, complete with hammocks, swing chairs, and tables. And the location just outside of town was perfect, providing a peaceful atmosphere while still being close enough to all the key attractions.
The private room I stayed in had a slightly run-down and basic bathroom. The shared kitchen could have been cleaner, which was a bit of a letdown.
